By binding with beta-tubulin, Fenbendazole blocks microtubular polymerization in worms and thus perturbs glucose uptake, eventually emptying glycogen reserves and adversely affecting energy management mechanisms. As a result, the whole process eventually contributes to the death of the parasites.
